Welcome to my Christian Script Site
While a few of these scripts are free, most of them are available for purchase through Amazon. You can either get the script on a Kindle or you can download a free Amazon Kindle app to any reader device. Each script is 99 cents each, and once you download it, you can share it among everyone who might need a copy. You can also purchase the full script collection for just $2.99 to read them all beforehand. Even better, if you are an Amazon Prime member, you can borrow every single one of these scripts for free before you purchase them.
I decided to go with the electronic copies because it makes these a lot cheaper. You would not have these prices for a printed script, and I pass the savings onto you.
I hope you enjoy this page and these scripts. Drop me a line if you have any questions or comments. Also let me know if you perform anything I've written. I always like to know how these scripts worked out for you.
Check back often as I am constantly updating this website to add more material and announcing promotions. Once a week, every Thursday through Monday, I will release a script for free on Kindle. Come back every week to find the new script.
Script Promotion Week
This week, Monday through Black Friday, I will release two free scripts for two days. Each day's scripts will be from a different one of my collections.
November 24 & 25
From my Dramatic Duets collection:
Gilda Does Something Funny
About this script: This duet examines learning how to trust God to work out the finer details, using the example of one of the funniest women of all time, Gilda Radner. That’s right, a Not-Ready-for-Prime-Time-Player is a spiritual lesson for us all.
The Counselor is [In]
About this script: Taking a page from Charlie Brown, this duet examines why being a Christian is not a guarantee that you won’t have problems. Our main character is having a tough time of it and can’t seem to catch a break. What’s worse, the usual Sunday School answers don’t help, as he’s doing everything right and still struggling. He exposes the dirty little secret that we Christians like to keep to ourselves. Perhaps it’s time we’re more honest with each other.
November 25 & 26
From my Crazy Christians and Digital Daring Deeds collection:
Facebook Inquisition
About this script: The Facebook Inquisition pounces on a poor individual because his Facebook activity isn't Christian enough.
How it Really Happened
About this script: A speaker giving his testimony is hooked up to a lie detector, and the truth of what really happened comes out.
November 26 & 27
From my Conversations Through the Pages: Old Testament collection:
Cain and Abel
About this script: This conversation occurs between Cain and Abel a little while before Cain murders his brother. They argue about faith and the nature of God.
Moses and Pharaoh
About this script: This conversation occurs between Moses and Pharaoh, as Moses demands the ruler let his people go. It’s about a man of faith, struggling with doubts, who still fights for what is right.
November 27 & 28
From my Crazy Christians and Large Frozen Fish collection:
A Christmas Persecution
About this script: When three parishioners are barred from putting up a Nativity scene on city property, their pastor realizes that the ban was definitely justified.
Have I Got a Hymn for You!
About this script: An aspiring hymn writer can't seem to realize why his efforts are soundly rejected.
November 28 & 29
From my How to Evangelize People collection:
Tis the Season
About this script: As the Narrator tries to address the subject of Christmas, Eric discusses why he has a restraining order against Santa.
Friendly Neighborhood Atheist
About this script: As the Narrator tries to address the subject of engaging atheists, Andy learns new words.

About this script: We have a meeting of End Times Anonymous, a support group for people disappointed that the End Times, Rapture, and Second Coming haven't happened yet.
August 16 & 17
Mary and Elizabeth
(from my Conversations Through the Pages: Old Testament collection)

Dead Pastor Sketch
(from my Crazy Christians and Large Frozen Fish collection)

August 18 & 19
The Lost Episode
(from my How to Evangelize People collection)
About this script: As the Narrator tries to address the subject of not letting biases interfere with discerning who is and isn't a Christian, Eric discovers why Andy is a terrible negotiator.

Punch in the Face
Punch in the Face
By Charles B. French
You
can say you're acting in Christ's name, but that doesn't automatically make it so.
Far too many Christians have used Christ to justify hurting others,
which is by definition 'Using the Lord's name in Vain.' When you encounter
others in the world, make sure that your actions are in line with the
teachings of Christ. For it is our actions more than our words that
spread the Gospel.
Characters:
Fred is someone who really wants to punch people in the face.
Gene is someone who really does not want to be punched in the face.
Gene casually walks onstage. Fred rushes towards him from the opposite direction.

Fred: Stop right

Wisdom and Impulse: A Coffee Conundrum
Wisdom and Impulse: A Coffee Conundrum
By Charles B. French
Based on an idea from
The Well
We are often pulled in
opposite directions. Our wisdom pulls us one way while our impulses another.
Sometimes even the wisest of us can fall prey to these impulses. These four
quick and humorous vignettes explore this conflict.
Reference Verse: Proverbs 3:21
Characters:
Wisdom – Very
calm and wise, has a soft spot for Impulse.
Impulse – Always
acting on emotion and what feels right, never stopping to think about what
could go wrong
This is loosely based
on the old Mac and PC commercials.

Our Friend Occam
Our Friend Occam
By Charles B. French
Occam's razor states that all things being equal, the simplest solution is usually correct. In debates about the existance of God, this is used quite a bit. After all, if there's no "evidence" for God, the simple conclusion is that God doesn't exist. However, as we see in this script, it's a litle more complicated than that.
Characters:
Jodie - she does not believe in God
Bob - he has many questions and a love for a certain band
Occam - never passes up the opportunity for a good debate
Jodie, and Bob are just hanging out,
talking about things. That’s it, that’s all they’re doing. What, you thought
there would be more? Nope, it’s just a gabfest. They are probably at a restaurant or even a bar. If they were in England, they'd be at a pub.
Jodie: I’m telling
you, it’s impossible.
Bob: No, you just
lack faith.
Second Coming Show
The Second Coming Show
By Charles B. French
There’s a big difference
between expecting the Second Coming and doing little more than sitting around
and waiting for it. Not only does it make us look silly when it doesn’t happen,
we squander the time God has given us. We are meant to do so much more than
wait out the clock, and this script explores what happens with the people who
do.
Characters: The show is anchored by
cohosts Daniel and Mary. A reporter, Peter is out in the field.
Set notes: The set should somewhat
resemble a morning show. Daniel and Mary should sit in chairs stage center
while Peter stands off to one side. Some kind of morning show type music should
be played at the beginning and end.
The two hosts are talking
quietly to each other as the music plays and then turn to face the audience as
the music fades off.
Daniel: Hello. I’m Daniel Johnson.
Mary: And I’m Mary Matthews.
Welcome to The Second Coming Show, where we await the return of Jesus Christ,
who promised one day that He would return.
Chris and Robin Go Into The Wild
Chris and Robin Go Into The Wild
Charles B. French
This is a series of
scripts I wrote for a children’s camp. The theme was going into ‘The Wild,’ that unknown place God sends us when we
get ‘The Call.’ Each script focused on a different person in the Bible who got
a ‘call’ from God. The scenes are meant to be light and funny, with a little
bit of Bible teaching and a lot of energy and fun.
Characters – they can be male or female.
Chris: Chris is
the responsible one, very straight-laced and wants to do everything by the
book.
Robin: Robin is
prone to flights-of-fancy and can get very silly but has a good heart. Robin
and Chris are often bickering.
